Convention Wrap Up

Hey everyone. We did it. We pulled of a really successful juggling convention. I was super stressed in the weeks preceding and especially in the few days before and the first two days of the event. When Sunday finally rolled around, I was exhausted but relaxed. There wasn't anything left to do but chill.

It was 9 months in the making and I learned a great deal about the planning process and about teamwork.

I gained a lot of personal satisfaction from the accomplishment. I think I could put this event on the top of my life successes list. Feels kind of funny saying that, but I really think it was the largest project I've ever committed myself to.

I'm still working on my list of Highs/Lows/Areas For Improvement. I've been letting the experience sink in a little, but I want to get that list done asap because I don't want to forget anything. The list and essentially the post-event analysis is what will help us to bring next year's event more easily and hopefully more kick-ass.

David Sallee created a really nice Convention DVD Trailer that you can watch full screen here, watch the embed on my blog, or go to the PNWJC Website to watch the embed, read the video project outline, and contact David about getting a copy for your collection.

Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value. ~Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)
