CouchSurfing.com

I have just become a verified member of the online travel network called CouchSurfing.com. CouchSurfing.com is a place where people can offer their couch/floor space to people travelling in there neighborhood.

There are over 300 members in Seoul making it very likely that one could stay in Seoul for a very long time while surfing couches.

The discovery of this network is very exciting to me as I continue to plan my Do What You Love World Tour and North American Tour.

Juggling Social Network

There is a new website for jugglers called Juggling Social Network. Here's what the site says:

What is Juggling Social Network?

Juggling Social Network is a world-wide community of jugglers, that helps you to find, contact and meet new friends and jugglers!

This community has some nice and new features like a jugglers map, the ability to search jugglers that live near you and the scheduling of the next juggling events all over the world.

There is something like this now called JuggleStay. The new website will have the same concept as JuggleStay, but with more features.

I'm really excited about this because it's another tool for planning my Do What You Love Tours.

Tour Planning

I've added another tool to my Do What You Love Tours planning. It's simple. I use rec.juggling to participate in online discussions about juggling.

Every so often someone posts an announcement about an upcoming juggling festival or a recently held festival. All I need to do is add the topic thread to my "Favorites" and walla, I have a permanent record of the festival name, location, dates, and any other important information such as websites for the events. I'll even know, from the responses, who has gone or who is involved with it if I ever need to contact someone for questions about it.

Do What You Love - North American Tour

If you read my blog regularly, you might have noticed my plans for travelling around the world. I am calling it the Do What You Love - World Tour. This tour is scheduled to take place from January 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010. I will attend as many juggling festivals around the world as I am able. I do not plan on attending any festivals in the North America.

I am 31 months away from the World Tour, but I can't help to start planning my Do What You Love - North American Tour. According to the juggling.org festival listings, there were 43 juggling festivals in Candada and the United States of America during 2006.

My plan is to purchase a Volkswagon Westfalia Camper and drive it around North America for an entire year while attending as many of the juggling festivals as I am able.

I'd like to take this tour in 2011 after I return to Korea for one year in 2010 to save up the money for the VW Westfalia and for my travel expenses.
